Paddington Terrace # 2

This property was originally an 1910’s federation terrace. It was unsympathetically renovated in the 1960’s . The owner wanted an up to the minute, modern renovation, but blending with the original feature as well as completely restoring the front of the terrace back to it’s 1915 original features. Sandberg Schoffel Architects designed the new internal and Base Projects NSW were commissioned to undertake the renovation work. 

The construction had many difficulties, including precise levels given by the Architects to give maximum space in the allowed building perimeters. This included an enormous wall of floor to ceiling steel frame doors to the rear.
